Spicy Vinegar

Vinegar with a kick.

  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp peppercorn
  • 5 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1/2 onion thinly slice
  • 1/4 lb chili labuyo/jalapeno/habanero
  • 1 bottle vinegar


  • In a pan, toast garlic, onion, peppercorn and your chili of choice.
  • In a clean container, add all ingredients. Stir.
  • Put in refrigerator for a week before using.
    Occasionally stir vinegar.


If you want a really spicy vinegar, chopped the chili after toasting them.
