Lumpia is a Filipino egg roll. Basic fillings are composed of ground pork, minced onions, carrots and seasonings.
Fried egg roll filled with ground pork and vegetables.
- 1 pack lumpia wrapper
- 2 lbs ground pork
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 2 carrots minced
- 2 onions
- 1 ginger minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 eggs
- 2 tspns salt/pepper
- In a bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well.
- Take 1 lumpia wrapper. Scoop around 1 to 2 tablespoon (it's up to you how much you want it) of filling and place it on the wrapper. Roll the wrapper. Use water and put it on the edge of the wrapper to help the wrapper stick.
- In a pan, heat cooking oil. Deep fry lumpia until it floats or golden brown.
- Remove from oil and let oil drip.
