Simplest way to cook Filipino adobo
- 2 lbs chicken cubed
- 1 head garlic chopped
- 3/4 cup vinegar
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tspn peppercorn whole
- 3-5 pieces bay leaves
- 1 tspn sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- Add oil into a pan, saute garlic. Add chicken and cook until brown.
- Add soy sauce, water and peppercorn. Let boil.
- Add vinegar. Do not mix.
- Once it boil, add bay leaves.
- Let it boil until chicken is tender and cooked through. Serve.
